Dzovinar Mikirditsian is a composer born in Beirut (1979).

 

After extensive piano studies at the Conservatories of Beirut and Yerevan, I devoted myself to composition, which I continued after settling in France. I hold a Master’s degree in mixed music composition from the school HEM Geneva.

Currently based between France and Switzerland, I collaborate with various ensembles such as Sillages, Eklekto, Assonance. I also work with creators in the fields of visual arts, theatre, and science.

My works, deeply inspired by literature, visual arts, and crafts, aim to create poetic worlds where slowness and movement, light and darkness, softness and veiled violence intermingle. I compose for a variety of ensembles, with or without electronics.
